libjs-jquery.quicksearch software package provides plug-in for filtering large data sets with user input, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-jquery.quicksearch
libjs-jquery.quicksearch is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-jquery.quicksearch package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-jquery.quicksearch *
You will get with libjs-jquery.quicksearch package name, version, architecture and description in a table
